I love it! I had it set up and it plays beautifully and sounds great. Absolutely no dead spots on the neck. LOVE the sound with the neck pick up isolated. Buttery P-Bass goodness, but with a unique voice all its own
. Still getting used to the active set-up. SO many different tonal combos. It's got that modern sound dialed if that's what you're looking for. But with the 3 way pick-up selector, you can smooth that sound out quite a bit.
I have a six bass collection including two 60's Fenders and two other modern boutique J's - this is my first Lakland. I am a fan!
Cannot wait to hear the recordings!
It sure did as you say...
... And lakland is to notch for sure!
belated happy holidays to my Lakie friends. I'm still rocking mine!! should probably change my avatar as i no longer have that bass. I do miss her though. I sold it to Jody(jedibass) still have my custom JO-CS that was made for Tim Commerford.unfortunately it is my only lakland right now. I will never sell it, as Ive never played a better bass.Rest of my stuff is fender right now. I do plan to order a fretless at some point this year, Right now I have a Tony Franklin. and hopefully Markus could help me with the design.
Should be end of Jan when the mixes are done. I can post them here?

does anyone here have a fretless decade?
Hey there, fellow Lakland owners club members. It is with a heavy heart that I must sell my teal green lakland skyline 5-string. I have had it up on the classifieds for a while now with little traction. Any suggestions on where I could sell her without taking a major hit in the ol' wallet? I'm starting the process of paying back my student loans so any tips would be appreciated!
Good to hear from you, Matty! Happy holidays. As you know, I've always loved that bass.here she isView attachment 760814
I have only seen one fretless Decade ever, and it was several years ago--I think it had a quilted blue body, and it might have been a fiver.does anyone here have a fretless decade?
