Lakland Owners Group #69

OH ME OH MY!!! :help: :bassist:

that has got to be one of he most beautiful Lakies I have seen in a while!!!!

love the color!!!! did you order this or find it somewhere?

how heavy is it? Mahogany can be a bit heavy.....

congats and IF EVER you decide to sell it...PLEASE let me know....

peace:

Doug

Yes I order this beauty directly thru my local dealer. It is quite interesting that Lakland did build the bass under my specification. I did not really see my bass until I got it. Lakland just blows my away from the stunning walnut top. Yes, this bass is heavier than those standard 55-94 I have tried before, but just a little. It worths a bit heavier for its own sound and beauty. The sound blends so well with all bands I play with, from rock, pop, funk to jazz, fusion.... Amazing bass! :bassist:

A little preview...

I, for one, can't wait. Speaking of...my refins are in the mail...and man. I'm STOKED for them. You guys should be too.

Also, [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] I'd shank that.

I would love to have a bass with the black/gold paisley like on the older Fender James Burton Telecasters! Here is one from Elderly -

Just got this in the mail yesterday... A 2007 Skyline JO-5 in black and maple. A couple of questions; first, anyone here know what pickups are stock?

I might keep it, or I might trade it for a Lakland 4-stringer... We'll see.
