Nice. I’ve always wanted a JS but they are pretty rare now it seems.

I had not heard of a Jerry Scheff before. It has a nice look. What kind of pickups are they?

It is stock, but I am planning on gutting and replacing the electronics with EMG pickups and a Spector preamp. Buying my first 4 string in an really long time!

Only issue is that it's in Iowa.... So it may be a few weeks before I can pick it up.

It's not a Lakland... If they made uprights.....

You'll love it. I would play upright all the time if it fit the music. I feel, of course just my opinion, acoustic upright makes you feel the music not just hear it. There is something about it that is just not entirely reproduced in an electric upright

I'm really looking forward to it!

I got a heck of a deal....especially since it already had a pickup!

They accepted my first offer.... Which means I probably offered too much...

But they also have to store it for a few weeks so....

She was there... Shaking her head... As I was talking to the salesperson on the phone .. mouthing " you have too many...."

Also... This was the young gentleman's first sale... He just started there earlier in the week...

I asked about carrying Laklands ( which they don't)... He said... " Yeah ... I know...those are GREAT basses...a friend of mine drive to Chicago to pick one up... Hopefully we'll carry them in the future".

He was floored when I told him how many I was looking at while I was on the phone:D:bassist::bassist:
