You got that right JJ!! Spoke to John, worked out the details of the strap, and it arrived yesterday. He knocked it out of the park! IMO. I love it! Pics to come. Hope to check out your band on 5/26 JJ.

Has anyone seen the new Skyline Ice Blue basses in person? I'm loving the color and inlay and would like opinions and pics if anyone can oblige.
Not me, Tex, but I'm definitely curious!

I see Bass Club Chicago has them in stock now. Unfortunately, their hours these days don't work well at all with my schedule (closed Sat.-Mon., open till 6 or 7 pm Tue.-Fri.).

Guys,

Could you provide me some feedback on the sonic qualities of the Chi Sonic single coil and humbucker pickups?

Many thanks!

The single coils are like a bit hotter j pickups on steroids....imho they have more lows and highs. I played mine the other day ( first time playing it with the in ear monitors) and it definitely has the most " grind" of any of my basses.

The double coils sounds fantastic ( imho) in dual coil mode... The single coil mode is ok...but they sound best in double coil mode. They are very thick and meaty sounding...

Hope that helps..
