Lakland Owners Group #69

Waiting patiently for my new neck to come back on my 44-64. Ended up sizing up to the 1.62 width and black abalone dots.

ok folks... as promised, here's the soundcloud link to my band's 4 song EP. It's being officially released as a physical copy (with a free Hookfish sticker!) available on our website that's going live this weekend (hookfishmusic.net.... .net. get it?) and EVERY digital platform on June 1st. The Soundcloud link is the "soft release".... anyway.... The bass is my 4-94 with Bartolini electronics strung with DR Nickel Lo-Riders 45-100 direct into a Neve board from the 80's (that is sadly moving on to another home our studio is downsizing and moving to an all digital workflow) into Protools.... the engineer/producer promised he was going to pick up a few of the modern Neve channel strip pre's because it's my favorite thing ever... 2 of the tunes (down and greyhound) were recorded with the the front pickup solo'd and all eq's cut to Bass 10:00 Mid 11:00 Treble 9:00. The other 2 were my "60's Jazz Bass" setting with similar EQ, but with slightly more bass and less mids. Anyhoo.... 4 songs for your listening enjoyment.

Lakland switched from Barts to the Lakland/Hanson electronics and pickups in 2005, correct? Long story somewhat short, have been looking at fretlesses, really digging that 55-94 in the classifieds with the unlined 'board, just not 100% sure I can handle no lines (although I love the look).

Anyways, Bass Central has one on Reverb (and on their website) with lines, and on their website they have serial # 6849, which makes it a 2005, so that's a 13 year old NOS bass...

That sure looks like a nice one!

Hmmm...that is really old for NOS!

I think they have a decent return policy if you find any issues with it!

Go for it
