Played this today at Sweetwater. Was a nice bass. Unfortunately she be a big girl. Felt like 11 lbs.

Only played one once... But general consensus is that they are great basses.... But people often change out the preamp.

I wish.. I've played a few... Really nice... But there wasn't a fiver option... So I didn't buy one

I have one coming from Dan but it has no pickguard. The issue is that his pickguards were all cut at the factory so no pickguard manufacturer seems to have a template. I was hoping someone her had one to maybe help me with a tracing.

It’s roasted maple. I chose intentionally so it looks aged to. I think it came out great

Is he still in production?

He isn't and while he seems like he would like to pick up and keep going I doubt he will. Honestly as much as I like Dan and what he's created I don't think he should. His health isn't fantastic and it's just too big of a show to try and run himself. I had been talking to him a little bit and he had the prototype Glaub around but missing some stuff so I bought it off of him. The only troublesome piece will be this pickguard apparently.
