Sadly I need the Glaub for the pickguard info. Do you have or have you owned a USA Lakland and/or Skyline? How would you say that bass compares to those?

Just looked at it again...the BEM on the neck is wild!
Yes sir I do, I have my Skyline Duck Dunn.. absolutely love it.. the D Lakin is every bit as good. Top notch.
I got the Lakin bass in. Not able to get it all hooked up but man this neck is exactly like a USA Lakland. I am blown away. The neck is the one thing that kept the Skyline from being as good as the USA version. This bass nails it.
In all honesty, and I'm almost ashamed to admit, I've never gotten to play a US model.. but I love the neck on my Skyline and D Lakin
Finally got around to checkin I think this means they are Fralins?

Those are Fralins. CAR was only done in the first run of 2002. There might be one run in 2003. There are no production number records for early Skyline (I asked before) but they were done in small batches of like 40. There are likely less than 100 CAR and they would be split into rosewood and maple. 2002 and 2003 are the absolute best Skylines. Congrats!

Sellers can ask whatever they want... I emailed them and said I’d take it at the old price- we’ll see what happens.
I am always amused by the selling tactic of raising the price if something isn’t selling... but I am not a marketing expert, so what do I know.
I’d probably sell my current 55-94, which is cherry sunburst and maple, and currently has barts in it. No need for a matching pair. So just a swap for color (and more figured fretboard).
But then again, maybe this is a sign that I should be happy with what I have
