You looks like strong Man!!!

I just got this Lakland 44-01 Sunburst off TB. It plays great and sounds fantastic! Definitely a great buy. And like everyone else has been saying, the necks do feel phenomenal. They have a very sturdy feel to them, and they're easy to play.

guys quick question, how do I search the forums now? I logged in and the sites all different lol
Click on your username on the top right of the screen, click on Preferences and choose the retro style--much easier to read, IMO. Then you'll see "Search Forums" near the top on the left. The search function actually gives more options now.

If you're searching on mobile, there's a big search box at the top of each forum (e.g. Bass guitars, For Sale: Amps). If you're using your browser, there's a search button on the top 1/4 of the page view that functions similarly to the previous search engine, it's just a little more robust than the previous one.

Haha yep that did it. I haven't played a Lakland before, and I live a reaaaaaally long way from any decent music store, but everything I hear/read about them really gets me excited to try one. I need a 4 string so I think that's my next purchase! Thanks :)

The Lakland 44-01 is a great bass for the money. They have wonderful necks, good electronics, and a great sound. If you're looking to try a Lakland, and don't want to break the bank, I recommend picking one of them up.
