My "go to" live bass is an old (2008) Joe Osborn from when they were still called that. Finally made my peace with the Hanson pick ups, which are really wonderful in a live setting.
Recently I dug out my old (2006) 4-94 which I put on the shelf quite a few years ago. Mistake! I am older now and the neck on this bass really loves my crippled old hands so I have brought this out of retirement. At least until I get new strings on my JO.

The things I would do to own those 55-60 with the Lakland preamp already installed! I would take the pink one.
I judge all necks against my 4-94’s. Better suited to my hands than a 1.5” nut.
Its the Doude we are talking about... of course it has blocks! He likes his stuff to be flashy! Here’s his daily driver.
Keeping the current photo stream happening, here's me onstage with my 55-02 probably bending that note out of tune! You can see the headstock of my 55-60 peeking out from behind also.

It’s a passive Carlo dbl P. There are differences, from the headstock shape to the bridge.
It's been a while since I shared photos of my Lakland stable/porn.
1. Custom Skyline Jerry Scheff 4-String in Lake Placid Blue (LPB) with rare Maple Fretless with Ebony Lines neck and US Style Hipshot Tuners including Drop-D Tuner. This required some mechanical ingenuity and deemed impossible by many - which was enough for me to push through the task.
2. US 4-94 in Copper with Matte Black Pick Guard, Rosewood fret board, and Hipshot Drop-D Tuner.
Both remain in minty fresh condition.
