Yup yup. That’s what I meant by headstock to bridge. It’s different from end to end, especially the neck. I’m very anxious for it!! Shouldn’t be much longer, maybe a week.

That may be the only fretless scheff I've seen
Knowing the Scheff’s signature sound, I’d have to say a fretless would really have some serious oomph! The maple would brighten it a smidge, and rounds would even more. It has to be a fun bass to play!

Jeff was going to drive us up to pick up our two Carlos. But, his work gets crazy during the summer, and we weren’t going to rush the master. Turned out that Jeff’s finished ahead of mine due to a long paint hold up that was out of Carl’s controls. And sadly, mine was weeks ahead of his at the start of this venture. Anyways, I’m not going to do the drive by myself. So, I will have to visit another time... maybe when Carlo #2 gets finished ;-).
