I did a thing...but not a Lakland thing...
...but you guys are who I wanna tell.
For some of you who were LOGers and on this thread back in the Golden-Era of the Doude-Wave, you may remember that my unicorn bass has been the Warwick Dirty Blonde 2006 LTD. Some of you would post me the f/s links when they came up, and I never was at a good point to snag one. In fact, about a year ago I had to sell my beloved white DarkStar HoBo to recoup some losses. Well, I've accomplished some financial goals recently and began keeping an eye out for one.
I just won an eBay auction for the 4-string variant at a very reasonable $1400, and it should be here by Wednesday of next week. I know what they say: "Never drive your dream car" and "Never meet your hero," so I'm going into this expecting it to be "just OK". But it's been at least 8 years of me wanting to own this bass, and now is the best chance I've had to do so.
Fingers crossed!
