Thanks! I'm not real big on stickers but I added the tattered Old Glory this summer for a 4th of July show and I liked the way it looked so decided to keep it.
100% agreed

love it....I've had a few...now have two (1@ fretless with LH3 preamp 1@ chisonic pickup)
You should hear it and you’d know why! Plus, it looks and plays so beautifully! You look very happy JJ!
Does a LH3 pre fit in the 55-60?

Not a stock 55-60.
This one had a cavity in the back... And no pick guard
YES! Agree with Doug. You look like you were diggin it! Where was the gig?View attachment 3575179 Last night, with my Carlo. She’s my favorite!
As always Doug, nice room! Hmmm, who wants to be played today? That's it on the far rightView attachment 3575249

Has anyone added a pre to a newer 55-60?
As mentioned up above, I'm running an Audere Pro Jz3 4-band pre on a standard jazz control plate that drops right in.
How does that sound? Are you using the stock pickups?

Has anyone noticed that the newer Lakland Skylines are lighter than the old ones? I'm in the market for a Duck Dunn 44-64 when I go back to the US for Christmas and am looking for a boat anchor of 10.5 pounds or more. The new ones are only about 8.5 pounds, while my 2007 Joe Osborne is 11 pounds - love it! It weighs only a pound less than my 1974 Fender Jazz, which aside from sounding great, is also suitable for putting in your trunk of your rear-wheel drive car for traction during snowy weather.
Whoever is complaining about Skylines being heavy, stop it because apparently Lakland listened to you!
My Skyline Duck Dunn is pretty heavy. Not sure of actual weight though. Sadly, I've been having shoulder pain issues and I may have to sell. Really don't want to, because, to me, it's perfection in a bass
My 44-64 is also just above 9lbs and I'm having a new one made that is chambered with Hipshot UL's. If you sell, this would be an option for the proceeds. My Skyline Duck Dunn is pretty heavy.
