First pic was before I did some final setup work, and the strings weren’t exactly centered. After sanding on the pickguard at the neck pocket, the neck fit better which fixed the issue.

Man!!! Trans orange and rosewood too?! If only you’d gotten a dual P instead! As Carl said, it’s like a jazz but better! Don’t take offense, I’m just partial to my dual P and not a fan of J basses.

I would sure be interested in a dual P like that in a 5 string and 35". Wonder if it's ever been done before?

Thanks. Yes, bridge pickup is centered exactly where a EBMM Stingray has its humbucker. Neck pickup is roughly as close to the neck heel as my Scheff’s pickup.

I been hunting for a Lakland jazz bass , I notice one thing about the Laklands they do hold value, trying to find one used and even the Skylands seem to hold value over other brands. I pulled the trigger and went for this one, cant wait till it arrives, but dont tell the wife ill be in the dog house .........again.
