Lakland Owners Group #69

I can second that. Have played it briefly. That neck is one of the best I have played. The Barts and pre, vintage Lakland! Great bass.
Thanks! I played it earlier and the action is probably closer than any bass I own. It’s going to get a seasonal truss rod tweak. I also think it’s time to throw a fresh layer or two of tru oil on the neck. I’ve heard that it should be done once or twice a year and I’ve never done it to any of my Lakies.

Sacrilege!!!

Church Bassist Replaced With Cardboard Cutout

But I have to admit... Funny...

In my " weekly church gig" the organ takes over periodically for the bass in the contemporary songs...( Due to Covid)..as the praise band is down to keyboard and (1) guitar...

But at least the organist ( who is a GREAT LADY and who ( and her husband) are good friends) has admitted... "When I play I think WWDD"(What Would Dougie Do?)

Gotta love her!!!

PS... Anyone HERE calls me "Dougie" I'll have guys on your front porch faster than you can say " give me an E scale....in double time!"... Remember..I live in Chicago..I got people...;)

In my head I still call you Dougie, but I'm super old-school, and called you that in person... LOL
