I like it so much I use it at my main rig! (Shuttle 9.2 into AE410!) The little one is a 6.0 into a HT112!
I had that Ampeg amp. It was part of my first real rig that I financed back in 1992-ish. I didn’t know jack about amp, cabs, or getting a good tone back then.
The pre-Pro SVT III was a much better amp than the Pro 3's in my opinion. A heavy beast though. I bought mine new around 93. The cab had a back to back pair of 15's. Like a huge combo with a 3-rack space. Pretty ridiculous when I look back at it. Gigged the heck outta that monster. Happily sold that cab and replaced it with 4-10 cab until that became too much. Small EA's and Bergs are more than enough these days.

Hey peeps I need some help! Would someone that has an early 44-94 with Bartolinis mind taking a close up pic of the wiring? I need the to see the original way the bridge pickup switch is wired up

I have SN 11. I can get pics tomorrow.
Green and white pickup wires go to ground. The short yellow wire runs from the switch to the middle post on the pickup pan knob. The rest is easy to see from the pic.
Since I had #11 out, I thought I’d get a couple pics. She’s dusty and needs a thorough cleaning too. The flame in the neck and headstock is easily twice as deep and dramatic as my phone pic can capture. Oh well. The pickups show lots of wear and tear w/ the thumb anchor area of the MM pickup being worn to a glossy appearance w/ the edges and corners worn down and rounded. Who knows how the scar in the neck pickup happened.
And that is a LOVELY bass!!
Thanks! It’s a warhorse with dings galore and the millions of cracks in the nitro paint. But, MAN does the neck feel like perfection!
Did you replace the nut? Does the first fret dot mean the truss rod was replaced?
