NOT the skylines....those have the Bart preamp.
the US models have the LH3 Pre amp with the passive/active switch.
you can always retrofit the skyline with an LH3....

I would ask first...cheaper option...however, if they use someone else, do not be surprised if there is an up-charge...I doubt Thy would get the same pricing from Marty that they get from Pat....but you never know...

Just thought I'd share this clip of a song from a session I did for Michael Sweet with my Lakland JO bass, ran direct. It's the first single from his new album coming out on May 6th, 2014. Bass isn't overly loud, but you can hear how nice it sits in the mix. Michael on vocals and guitars, Kenny Aronoff on drums. Check it out!

I REALLY like that tune, and the bass sounds fantastic. I'm really surprised that is run direct. I would swear there's some tube warmth in that tone. Regardless, that is some great stuff. Thanks for sharing!
We know who's photo that is. I own a SS Decade and love it but the SSHB doesn't appeal to me. I'm sure it plays and sounds great but I find it kind of ugly. I think it would be more appealing in a solid color though. I'm not a big fan of Sunburst finishes in general.
