On topic ...depending on how profitable this project is....I may need a "bonus'.....

Technical question time!

Some of you know I have a parts bass that started life as a DJ5. It was routed to have a soapbar-style neck pickup and a MM style bridge pickup. I've started to source some parts (bridge, tuners, MM pup) and I'm curious about the wiring scheme for this. EBMM basses use a 0.05uf capacitor on the tone pot, and DJ basses use a 0.047uf capacitor on the tone pot. My plan is to keep this passive (I'm waiting to hear back from the original owner on his wiring), but I wondered if any of you would know which capacitor to use.

Most caps have a +/-.005% tolerance...you are splitting hairs. It's virtually the same cap. At $.75 each, buy two and compare.

Well I can tell ya that this Burl looks much more like a one of a kind work of Art, than "mold".
