Ebony fingerboard, mahogany body with walnut burl top, thumb rest.

If there was ever a bass that needed a birds eye maple fretboard, this is it!

Same goes for me, except that in my case more often than not burl puts me in mind of something less pleasant than mould. I'm surprised more people don't see it the same way.

On rare occasions I have seen a burl I thought nice.

If you picture this "finish" on the front of a bass, it looks like some of the burls out there.
