It actually does have a bevel, just not as wide as usual. I figure the bevel is basically invisible from more than a few feet away, anyway.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about builds. Didn't notice it was about pickguards.

Speaking of pickguards I just had a custom one done by WD Pickguards and it didn't take long at all.

I can attest. I've owned one american and two skylines. The american is certainly prettier and more dear (and lighter!), but the skylines play every bit as good or better!

That's just a fixture used in the Plek machine.

That's the body they attach the necks to for plekking

Has anyone tried making a 55-94 with Bart's all passive?
I am wondering if removing the preamp completely will yield a different/better sound that simply pulling the volume knob to disengage the pre.
I love the way it plays and feels, but don't like the sound.
