Does anyone know if Lakland has any plans to release that short scale Decade that Dan was working on before he left? Sorry if this has been discussed before, I didn't notice it in any of the pages I looked through.
Flat black is the shizznit!
Did you remodel your deck too?
BB: freakin awesome. how do you like the sound, those pickups?
Pat said that he was using a new paint for his 'satin black' - much to my surprise and delight it is flat black. Reminds me more of Rat Rod Black or Blitz Black - love it.
Yes, the deck got a facelift - gone is the old battered wood, replaced by Trex for the decking and an aluminum and glass rail.
Thanks G. I actually am quite astounded at how much this bass sounds like the Sadowsky prototype I had, which was the intent. The only thing I didn't bargain for, but am quite happy with, is the mid-frequency push/pull that switches between 1khz and 400hz on the Nordstrand pre - nice little sonic treat.
Overall, I would define the tone as quite deep and throaty, very forward. I had to turn the gain micro trim pot down a tad as it was quite hot.
It's pretty bad that one (or maybe even a few) recognize a change in your deck....

Not if all your pictures are taken in the same spot (e.g. The corner of the deck). If Markus change his floor to Maple or Pine, EVERYONE would notice, and probably riot

Very bold, I'll bet it looks killer!

Ha! Pine is too soft! I like my floors like my coffee, wine, and beer...dark.
Oddly enough, I have maple floors![]()
There you go, bringing it back around to basses.![]()
