Lakland problem.

I ordered a Lakland 44-02D fretless in the beginning of september. It was sent back from Lakland due to quality issues, and will be ready at the end of October. I have a 55-02D loaner that's really awesome. I have been offered the 55-02D instead of the 44-02D fretless plus 250$. Should I stick with the fretless or keep the 55-02D plus 250$ (which will go toward my accugroove cab).

Keep the 55-02. I love the string spacing and the B string on Laklands. Sooner or later, I will probab;y pick up a Daryl Jones 5 or 55-02 myself. When you get those cabs, that 55-02 will really have something to sound off in.

Its not often you find a 'keeper'. If the 55-02 speaks to you, keep the sucker.

Very true.. Plus a sure thing and 250$ is better than a maybe with 0$

The 55-02 has frets and one string more, but I'd keep it. If you don't need it you can always trade it for a 44-02+ more cash on top of the $250.

It depends on your needs, but personally I am very happy with my 55-94. Excellent live tone and fantastic B string.

Well obviously if you like the 55-02 more, keep that.

I think I'm going to stick with the 55-02. I just used it for a marching band rehearsal and it sounded great!
