I have a Teal Green 55-60 or Joe Osborne 5 hopefully on the way tomorrow... Just trying to figure on what to install for an on-board preamp..
Much more green than I expected. I'm very pleased.

Any word on a 34" scale 5 string J in a natural finish with a maple board sporting black blocks and binding? Or any color with black blocks and binding. I heard some "rumors" from folks that definitely know that some 34" scale 5 strings were being made. Are they Skyline?

Yup...at the moment...but be patient J! they will be in Skyline form (sometime)....at least from what I hear...

I got an email last week from ups that my new teals had been shipped from lakland. An hour later I got another email saying that Lakland canceled the delivery

That stinks! Where does it stand now? Have you e-mailed or called anyone? Was there a tracking number to check?

I received my JoBo 5 last week and it's nice.. I ordered a Audere preamp to install in it too...
I'm still waiting for mine - and I live in Chicago! C'mon Leo, make it happen! BTW - I've had three other JoBo5's and I'm putting in a J-Retro Deluxe, same as the others. Killer, killer combo IMO and IME.
I like keepin' all my Lakland passive and then pluguin' to an Aguilar Tone Hammer... that's the way for me

This 2010 Lakland Skyline LE is just a dream... The best basses I've ever played. And this is my 40 or 50 bass. Who said Fender? I say Lakland!
