Lakland Skyline Pre vs Post 2010

Hello all. I read TB throughout the day quietly, but this is my first post. I recently acquired a 2016 Skyline P Bass that seems to be a "Bob Glaub" by 1.7 inch nut, dotted fret board and P only pickups. It plays and feels great. By feel I mean both playability and spirit of the instrument. A bona-fide "BG" 2008 has come up for sale and I have this idea that pre-2010 skylines are better or significantly different than 2016 because Lakin was still there and the pick up are Fralin vs Hanson (?). Do you think it's worth selling the 2016 I have to get the 2008?
