Eva Cassidy (RIP) Live at Blues Alley. I was at the local Liquor Store this past Friday and the owner - avid Blues and Jazz Fan sticks the CD in my Bag (of Tequila Fix'ns) and says check this out and bring it back when your done.
So I came home - made some Margaritas and threw the Disk on - nice mix of some classic songs - great musician that left us too soon.
I do love Blackbird by Alter Bridge, Gavin Degraw's self-titled album, and Nate Sallie's Ruined for Ordinary. Has anyone heard of Denison Marrs self-titled album??...It's pure underground, bass-driven rock at its finest!!
Edie Brickell's "Picture Perfect Morning". I wasn't that familiar with her (had only heard a New Bohemian song or two before), didn't expect a whole lot, but this album blew me away - very enjoyable, polished, not a weak song on it. Being married to Paul Simon (who co-produced) helps.
