Just wanted to update...

I didn't get around to calling them for the fifth time to try and swap out colors. Four times unsuccessful over the months (not including those mandatory back order calls). But yesterday I did receive a week 3, 2012, MID 4003. The finish is great and I'm glad I didn't swap colors. For the price, it cannot be beat. The color does look a little more purple than the other MID I received previously with QA issues. This one is flawless. Just need time to plug it in and take her for a test ride.

My Fireglo has finally become a player after needing a lot of work, all of which I have documented here.
Hoping that it performs it's main goal, as a chick magnet... time will tell!

that was my post, and yes it was sent back - and yes it seems to be the same bass!
