Learning about Amps

    Hey, how are you,
    im currently studying with my Ampeg b108, but i want to know more from the world of the amps, i know its too early to think about changing it, but i dont want to end buying a amp just for "that bass player uses it and its cool so".
    i want to understand how to choose a good amp, the diference about valv and trans, amp cab, boxes.
    do you have some "wiki", or online lessons or information about it, and how to know the diference, and pro/con about them.

    Easy, just read the faq's and stickies at the top of the page, then read through any or all the threads in the amps forum. There's plenty of good info right here.
