I'm finally back full swing to playing bass again after spending all my time playing drums in a rock band. Still playing drums in that band but my passion is the bass which I'm finally getting that project back together.
I'd been scouring around trying to find a pick that sounded like my fingers or better yet my thumb.
I'd been using the green polymer Mics Picks that come in a pack with felt picks which I would just throw away. Felt picks sound ok but fibers get stuck in the strings and dust everywhere.
The green ones still have a little too much click and are a little stiff as well.
These are a game changer for me. The pick in the middle is a little stiffer and probably more suited for something like an acoustic guitar plus it cost as much as the whole pack on the right.
I prefer the diamond cut out middle as it's the perfect flexibility for me. My picking technique is instantly better because of the flexibility and sounds exactly how I wanted.
I wish it hadn't taken me so long to figure it out.
