The whole bass looks like a MIK Squier II. I had an 89 and sold it for $150.

I kinda like those early MIK Squiers - I have a great strat from that era, my guitarist keeps stealing it

A '74 would be a top load bridge. MIA Fenders weren't string thru at this point but I agree with everything else.
