Les Claypool's New Bass!

That sounds so un-Claypool like. He must not be selling many records anymore.

I think Les has always been in it for 2 reasons. To have fun, and to let his fans have fun. And you just KNOW theres millions of teenage fanboys (myself included) that would kill for a CT but dont have 15 grand to throw down. I think its just him wanting that demographic to be able to throw on a top hat, stomp around, and jam just like Les.. at least thats what ill be doin :D

Exactly. He's been in music for the music and the fun it entails.
Has anyone heard what it sounded like that night, or anything?

Edit: I found one, new song as well, sounds pretty sick! Bad recording but it sounds like Les, i've got a lot of hope for this. I'm really looking forward to seeing how all this turns out. Now I gotta save up for primus tickets AND this. Hopefully theyll tour near DC this year, i missed them in Charlottesville :(

Reckon this is a bit of an odd move, seems only mainstream manufactured signature instruments sell well, as they're usually just a modification of the norm.
However, given how huge an influence Claypool has been on bassists since Primus hit the scene way back when, it might just work, unless they're ridiculously expensive that is...
