Funny story, that. i lent 'em out and had the hardest time getting 'em back. Like, it took years. Ultimately it turned out the lendee's cat had gone to town and said lendee was apparently embarrassed to fess up. I have been meaning to yank the carpet and strip the glue but there are some old threads here that fill me with dread. In the mean time I redneck it on the rare occasions when I take them out.

I drool over that Ampeg rig every time you post it. I've got OCD with those metal side guards though and always wanted to see what they would look like if you flipped them over so they matched to curve of the cabinet.

My OCD is pretty active too. Might have to give that a try as long as they still protect the knobs while in the case. But there is a nice continuity w/ the angle of the amp & cab and the flipped handles just might work.

Not sure if you noticed but I had to flip the rack mount handles on the GK so the SKB cover would fit. Worked great on that amp.

I recently did a post of what is your favorite go to bass. In making this post. A lot of people showed off their axe and I saw some basses I’ve never seen before that were really good cool.

I’d like to see what bass amps people use and the different speaker combinations. So if you’re up to it show some photos.

• On the left, Mesa Subway D-800+, GK NEO IV 212 (4ohm)
• On the right,GK Goldline 500, MarkBass Traveler 151P x2 (8ohm ea/4ohm total)
• And very lower left corner, there's a piece of a corner from a GK MB210-II

While my basses and pedalboard have changed, my amp has stayed the same, though I haven’t actually needed to use the extension cab yet. Fender Rumble 500 combo with the 4x10 extension cab.
