My 1964 epiphone rivoli ... So proud to own this bass!!! Love it so much!! I also used to have an epi eb0 and an epi thunderbird. Both of them are sold. View attachment 4158537 View attachment 4158539

I got this 60’s Newport about five year’s ago to remind me of my first “real” bass from 1966 when I was 16. Mostly a museum piece but I did use it on one recording last year that it’s sound was perfect for.

There’s nothing like mudbucker, for sure. Those that get it, get it. Those that don’t probably never will.
My 2018 Epi EB-0. I decided to with one bass, and this Epi EB-0, has turned out to be the finest bass for me in 53 years of playing bass.

They have always been a love/hate instrument it seems. I owned 2 Gibson EBOs back in the 90’s and people had the same opinions then. I assume it’s been the same since it was first released. Those of us that love them, love them. Those that don’t, really really don’t.
A 1969-1970 Gibson EB-0 was my first go a-rounds with the EB/SG's. It wasn't till recently in the past few years, I got into the Epi versions. Better late than never for me.
