There’s nothing like mudbucker, for sure. Those that get it, get it. Those that don’t probably never will.

The whole Epiphone thing. Inexpensive, each model stunningly different from the others, and from other brands, slightly dysfunctional if not downright defective. Yet oddly beguiling, gotta-have-em. I wish I didn’t get it.

My 2018 Epi EB-0. I decided to play one bass, and this Epi EB-0, has turned out to be the finest bass for me in 53 years of playing bass. Every thing about it is top shelf. I had the choice to play a Gibson SG Std., or this Epi EB-0. The Epi EB-0 was definitely the right choice.

They have always been a love/hate instrument it seems. I owned 2 Gibson EBOs back in the 90’s and people had the same opinions then. I assume it’s been the same since it was first released. Those of us that love them, love them. Those that don’t, really really don’t.

A 1969-1970 Gibson EB-0 was my first go a-rounds with the EB/SG's. It wasn't till recently in the past few years, I got into the Epi versions. Better late than never for me.
