Having a good presence on FB and other social networks can land you a gig. Surely it's not as cool as having a rabid fan that never misses a show, but being able to demonstrate interest, even if it's on a virtual network, can't hurt at all. USE all the tools we got and social media is a godsend for the independent artist really. It helps if your female lead is also a model, just sayin.'

Even though you'll probably never see our band and I'll never see yours, the "likes" certainly don't hurt. It's free and it takes 5 seconds to show a little support for independent music. Facebook likes and YouTube views do matter to some promoters, clubs, bars, and other bands. Plus, it's kind of cool to see bands from other TB guys and gals and what they are up to.
