Let's hear your bands!

We just started this band yesterday, and wrote and recorded this song the same day. I come up with most of the riffs, while the guitarist works the arrangements and lyrics/vocals. Give me some feedback! :bassist:

My only band right now: we are an 8 piece horn section with a 6 piece rhythm section. I have alternated between bass and percussion, depending on the line-up. We have pretty fluid personnel in this band.

The other project I am working on is yet another hardcore band in the vein of the Cro-Mags, DRI, Suicidal Tendencies, etc. All songs written on the bass, as that is the only real instrument I know how to play.

here's my input for this thread:

I assure you that our playing as gotten really better than in the rest of our recordings. we're just waiting on the singer to get a new mic so we can record our songs properly, and then post them in youtube and myspace. we have some other recordings with decent quality, but that is the only one that I can show for now

My new band hasn't recorded anything yet, since I've only been with them a month or so, so here's some seventeen year old recordings I did with my brothers when we were bored and/or drunk. I even play drums on one of them too. One was done on the 4-track in the basement, the other was a live recording from a cable public access show from 1992 that was played back from VHS cassette and recorded from the mic'ed tv speaker onto the 4-track.

Some people would call it lo-fi indie. We call it being devoid of talent and too broke/stupid to record decently.
