Because I only play 21-24 inch scale bass, whenever I see a guitar in that range that I like, I buy and modify it into a bass. This is an ESP LTD F-Jr. 21 inch scale that I had converted. It has flatwound 25 inch scale strings made by LaBella exclusively for the Gold Tone M-bass, but they work on my basses very well.

I have one of the last production runs of the Stu Hamm Urge II basses in black. Purchased new only plaid it about 1 hour. Been stored away in its case since. Would like to post a pic but since my computer upgraded to windows 10 cant download from my camera anymore.
 
I love black basses! 75% of mine are black. I hope to add a black 55-02 someday.
