Amazing!@JakobT , @B-Mac , finish was made by my trusted luthier Fabrizio Balladori, while the pickguard was commissioned to another guy who exclusively works on custom pickguards, www.battipenna.it
Both italian, of course, but I think Silvano at Battipenna.it accepts international orders.
FYI the pickguard is a simple 1-ply black pg, covered with a termoadhesive wrap with this beautiful brushed aluminium texture. We could not find a black aluminium sheet thin enough so we tried this. It was a first for him as he usually makes decoration either by hand using pens and acid or by printing them, but it was the first time he used a wrap to work on a pickguard and the results are amazing. We chose this type of wrap as it is used for the interior and exterior parts of cars and motorcycle hulls, and it's supposed to endure any kind of weather, so for that reason we thought it should definitely resist against skin oil and accidental pick hits as well. Time will tell.
Gorgeous.Hee go fellas
I think I like the Sweetwater pics better!
At least their house is clean!
Stay healthy all!
