Could never get used to the feel of a Fender 5 String but that bass has SICK! written all over it.
Normally I'm not a fan of headless basses. I love the idea and the logic but the looks just don't sit with me. Yours though, yours is like art. I absolutely love it!

I remember playing a red & black crackle-finish 4 version of this bass at a GC in the '90s and loving it. What is the model name?
They are DR Neons in yellow. I tried the Neons about 10 years ago just for giggles, and it turns out they sound pretty darn good. And IMO they really pop on a black bass.
Fender HM V Bass... Confirmed with John Page that it's short for "Heavy Metal"
