:)
It looks much more black in person, I've not figured out yet how to get my camera (aka, phone  ) to capture its true color :meh:
It looks good like that though. A lot of that color distortion has to do with image quality and the auto corrections most phones have built in. Even flagship phones sometimes don't do that great of pics.

The way it shows up as purple-ish in pics is why I 0ut the purple-topped knobs on :smug:

That's bad ass!

Thanks! :)

I'm kind of starting to like the way it looks with the black bridge against the chrome bits....I may leave it for a while yet.
The tuners the the factory Gotoh units, and work perfectly, but they're likely to get replaced with some chrome Schallers sooner or later.

But I'm really loving the EMG Rip Tide pickups, with the BTS System, just sounds so amazing in this bass

I bet! EMGs hit hard and sound so good.
I was looking at those pickups recently, there's an army green Trujillo fernandes in the classifieds that would look great with a set of those rip tides.

Because it's ancestors came from your home town, LOL
LOL,
I'm guessing you mean Kalamazoo? Yep, have been to the ole Gibson plant a few times over the years. Even knew some of the guys who used to work there when it had a big G outside. Sadly, those fellas have all passed, but at least Heritage guitars (mostly ex-Gibson workers) is still there. And Kal-Tone is in town too. Plus lots of live music venues!

Come on over for a visit!
