For finish, I want a gloss, but haven't decided whether to go multiple layers of tung oil, or superglue, or superglue over tung oil. I guess it depends on how it looks as I go along.

I've seen some videos where super-thin layers of wipe-on poly have yielded excellent results. They certainly changed my mind on how I'm going to finish a project. :thumbsup:

I did this with Minwax wipe on poly . Then buffed with a little wax . It's great , super fast dry time and less stinky than Tru oil.

If I was starting from scratch, I'd get some of that, but since I already have a big ol' can of glossy poly, I'll just thin it out a la the vids I've seen. No sense letting all that goop go to waste, eh? ;)
