Let's see those blue basses!

First - I know, no pic, no bass. Sadly, I have none....

My first "real" bass was a Warmoth PJ w/passive Barts. Swamp ash body was dyed blue with Birdseye/Rosewood Neck matching headstock. It was cool! Was hoping to see it in one of these pics. Some Cat in (I believe) Vegas bought it off me. If you're out there I hope you are still diggin' the blue bass!!

Now THAT is some "fearful symmetry"!

The Jackson Kelly Bird V David Ellefson signature bass I bought from a fellow TBer last summer.

Not sure why the finish looks so "gritty" in that one pic, but in real life it's smooth as can be.

It's so smooth that it's capturing the reflection of the ceilings stucco texture. My Projekt Blue bass is doing the same thing. It's not that the finish is "milky", it's catching the clouds overhead. :snaphappy: ;)

Here's a "rare" one. Applause GTX53 from the 90's.

Pawn shop rescue for $94. Replaced the pickups with a Seymour Duncan SPB3 Quarter Pounder neck and a STK-J1b bridge. Schaller Strap locks, LaBella flatwounds.

It actually sounds quite good. It's a back-up bass at my church right now.
