as a side note, the cheap little First Act Paul Westerberg guitar hangin beside her is pretty killer too.

Could you tell us more about this bass? Looks great! Like to hear the story behind it.

Oh, and I played one of the Westerberg First Acts. It was actually pretty sweet, and I dig the tartan guard.

Here's my Miller (ignore the other piece of painted crap) Ash body, not very impressive grain in my bass, but I love the butterscotch color it gets under some lighting conditions.

Man...I'm not usually a fan of highly-figured wood. Prefer plainer to quilted, flame, etc.

But that there is just a beautiful piece of wood. Gorgeous specimen. What specie is it?
