It’s not a colour I would have picked, but it’s a really nice playing and sounding bass. It’s even more versatile now with the drop tuner.
I definitely don’t worry about scratching it!

Love the basses and the amp/cab. I have a bassman, I use in the practice room, but I've thought about upgrading the speakers for live use. What did you use for this, and are you satisfied with the result?

For a little over a year this Classic 50s P has made me some decent side money. It is my number one for now.

My main player is a Carvin PB5 with a humbucker at the bridge.

My secondary bass is a Carvin B25 with single coils.

I play mostly in my basement or at blues jams (Central Virginia Blues society).

These all get some "air time" but the Nash PB63 gets 80% of the work.

However, I just finished building this Warmoth G4 MM clone...it could be a usurper (taking it to rehearsal tomorrow...):

This '74 Precision has been on thousands of gigs and recording sessions. There isn't much left that's original on it. The original neck was replaced with a Boogie Bodies neck in '85. I like the feel of the Boogie Bodies neck better. the pickup cover has a hole worn completely through it where my thumb rested.

Depending on the gig, my Upton Standard or the 09 American Standard P. The Ric had a good year of gigs until I put Chromes on the P, and then I found the bass tone that was in my head.

That P is freakin' outstanding! My upright gets most of the work these days. The bass guitar that's been getting the most love is a 2001 Thunderbird.

Now that I've made the switch from 4 to 5 stringers this, a MIA Fender Pro P Bass 5, and a matching all-natural MIA Fender Pro Jazz Bass 5 (sorry no pic yet), have become my workhorse basses.

1989 Fender MIJ PJ.
Bought it new as a thirteen year old and covered it in Bodega candles and threw the EMGs in and put the BADASS on...
I wanted a metal pickguard but couldn't find one in Mississippi back then so I just used a paint pen. Love this bass.

Currently has a Antiquities in it but is getting set up so no pics...

I have three that I use depending on the song.

MIA Jazz Deluxe, modified by removing the Fender electronics and setting it up passive with Lindy Fralin pickups, over wound 8% to get slightly more mids and lows. Also changed the black pickguard to white pearl.
