Let's see your Bass Rig

Love it

My new Ampeg PF-50 running at 4 ohms on top of my Barefaced Super Compact and my homebrew 12/6 (Avatar SB-112 with an Alpha 6). First time out last weekend. I'm used to GK amps, so it seemed pretty "furry" to me, but my friends said they loved the vintage tone. It kept up with 2 guitars, keys and a heavy drummer. (Which explains the fur - I was pushing it.)

P.S., I can't seem to get the photo to display correctly... sorry 'bout dat)

I have a blackline SVT, I don't use it much.

It's inconvenient since playing right now is just random moments I want to clear my head.

This is what I flip on for 5-15 minutes in the morning while guzzling coffee. I flip it on randomly when I get home and have some time to myself. When I telecommute I take smoke breaks with a cable out the back window with a bass strapped on until I feel like getting back to work.

Its like my cool vintage SVT is a muscle car I don't take out street racing anymore. I use the sensible gas saver often.

Hello all!

Here are my gigging rigs - small: Ampeg BA210V2, medium: Ampeg V4B/SVT212AV cab, large: Heritage SVT-CL/home-made 2x15 cab.

Sometimes I mix and match the two heads/cabs.

My favorite axes are Fender P's and Ampeg Scroll basses.

That looks like the More Cowbell bass with a different PG and fretboard. I think that's a fairly rare color.

Two ML-112's is an authoritative modular rig! I have two of these superlative Faital midrange drivers in my current cab (love 'em!). I enjoyed this Walkabout/1st gen ML-112 combo for a couple of years before going all-tube (Reeves C225/Shaw B150) and with MAS cabinets (110 Flex+sub):

Amps - Warwick Quad VI (pictured) or Hartke LH500 (preferred)
Cabs - Ashdown ABM 410T

Crap photo - monster tone :-)

I flipped on my little rig this morning.
It was 98 yesterday, and no one slept well, or they all partied last night.
5 minutes of play before 45 minutes of traffic sounded good, I think I'm the only person in the office whose morale wasn't sapped.

My gear is doing what it's supposed to.
