Let's see your Bass Rig

Here is my new 'big' rig:
MyBassRig.jpg

I use it with 2 TC cabs (K210 + K212)

My basses:
- Sandberg Electra TT4, upgraded with Lindy Fralin Split Jazz pickups and East UK BTB-02 electronics.
- LTD ESP B204-SM, upgraded with Saymour Duncan SSB-4 pickups and Delano Sonar 3 electronics.

This is my "new" rig.

It's an old Hartke TP115. It turns out the dimensions of the TP115 are very close to a Bassic 15 so I removed the Hartke speaker and replaced it with a Kappa 3015, added some "padding" inside to taste and bingo, I have a great sounding cab! I am loving the way My P (there she is on the wall) sounds through this thing.

PF800 head - I've had it for almost 2 years and I still look forward to turning it on every time.

Well, although more often than not, this is the rig that I use - as the cab belongs to a bassist who stores his cab at my rented rehearsal space and is gracious enough to let me use it...

...THIS is my personal rig, recently updated with a new (old) GK look. While I can't in good conscious run this rig at any type of volume in my apartment, I had all the pieces out earlier, and figured it was time for an updated group shot. This is the rig that I dream about playing at nights - with those chances that I do use it made all the more sweet for the fact that I really don't play it all that often (most gigs near me have backline cabs as well). Hmm, maybe I need to stop being so lazy and haul the Fearless' 52 lbs. to my next rehearsal...

View attachment 2162521 Thanks to kap, I traded in my 410 and got another 210 and went with a vert stack. Glad I did. This rig sounds so good

Was my pleasure, glad it's working out for you! I'm a big fan of the vertical stack, and was running one even before it was the hip thing to do, albeit with mixed cabs! :bag:

To try and steer this back to rig-pics, this is a shot of my vert-stack rigs of gigs-past. :)Interestingly, after acquiring the Fearless, the only cabs that I opted to keep were those mixed, early 2000s Avatars. We just had way too many good times together!

Big Boy Rig is a Reiner 6SL7 Tube Pre, being driven by a Carvin DSM 3000L. Cab is a BNA Audio Built Faital loaded Greenboy DuallyT.

That I said, I've spent the last year running Reiner above or a Genz with BNA Audio's 1822. The 1822 is amazing at any volume. It's so good that Mark asked me to return his prototype and I developed a serious hearing problem. I'm waiting waiting for the statue of limitations to expire.

My new go-to Jazz gig rig: Ampeg PF-50T w/ Acme Low B1

My trusty old loud outdoor gig rig: Ampeg SVT II-P preamp w/ QSC PLX 2402 power amp & Aguilar GS212.

The GS112 serves as a handy mixer stand. The other half of the power amp drives 3 monitors up front.
I also have an old Sunn 200s and an early '70s Ampeg V4-B that will fill a room quite nicely indeed with the 2x12. I mostly use the rack with the solid state power amp when we're running everything off of one extension cord. (That mixer starts acting up big time when too much current draw drops the voltage...)

That blue cab scares me. Like, I shouldn't be allowed to look at it directly.
