Let's see your Bass Rig

The rig is voiced really close to what I like already, but I handle small changes in tone and EQ with my pedalboard, which has an Empress ParaEQ, DSM OmniCabSim, and a Darkglass VMT dlx. More than enough control. I rarely use the EQ switches on the Sonic Farm, and my bass's onboard EQ is typically flat with a little bass boost.
Cool! What a crazy rig.

the pedalboard is a little much, but I like it, and it lets me use a really simple and great sounding tube DI as my rig. the DI on that thing sounds better to my ears than vintage API and Neve channels for bass. I am always psyched to get to send a signal from it to FOH or a recording console :)

That's a sick pedal board man!

thanks man! This is the "gigging" board i use for band gigs. I have another board I add on for solo looping gigs, that has a Boomerang 3 with sidecar, Line 6 DL4 and HOF2 reverb.

I'm not sure if I posted on this thread, so in case not, here is my rig. I only play 21-24" scale bass and always want to be as compact and light as possible. For rehearsals with my seniors ukulele group of about 60 people in a medium size multipurpose room, I use a Phil Jones Double Four, for larger gigs I use a Carvin MB15, and even larger and outdoor gigs I add a Carvin 115MBE.

Oh, forgot to add a Blackstar Fly 3 Bass rig that I attached together and added a shoulder strap to hang on me when doing gigs at UCLA/Mattel Children's Hospital in conjunction with The Ukulele Kids Club, and also to practice at home.

I had an old Peavey 1516 back in the early 90s. Great sounding cab for what I was doing back then. I know they're making them again, but IDK. Too big for me these days LOL!
I would keep one of the 1820 cabinets in the trailer and use for shows and keep the second one at home for practice, after purchasing the Ampeg I now switch between them depending on the room size plus I also have pedals as some of the casinos don't allow amps to be used...for that I run a Sansamp Paradriver set to simulate the SVT sound.

Sold the ampeg set up last year. GK is a 700 RBii and two Neo 115 III. Have a 98 SWR Bass 350 as a back up. The P bass started as a highway 1 and now sports a 91 warmoth j neck with 51 head and a bartolini 8s pickup. (Not pictured) both basses sound awesome through the GK set up. I can cover all the tones needed for roots/rock/blues cover band I play in with a set of flats on the p and half round on the Ric. I am actually surprised how versatile the Ric really is because I always see people say how they are a one trick pony. Not a slapper by any means but I have tricked a few into thinking I was playing my p bass with playing position and the right knob configuration.

Pedals are a big box q tron, brown dog replica, 3leaf groove regulator, Jay Allman Doom Custom OD (3 band eq for the od section separate clean level and independent FX loop)

Thinking of snagging a Schroeder 1210PL if I can find one used as a 3rd cab option or pair with the 2 neos and run 2 ohm with the SWR :bassist:

That Schroeder 1210 PL always intrigued me. In fact many of the Schroeder cabs intrigued me as I thought they had some pretty cool ideas. I would love to hear what a 12/10 4ohm cab could put out with some good wattage fed into it......:smug:

I am trying to find a schroeder pretty badly. I just know nothing about them and have heard they are mid heavy but I only play 4 string and wonder if those that say they dont have enough lows play 5ers
