Bergantino B|Amp + HG410 (4ohm~4th woofer in the rear, creating a 3d effect)...

Surface does matter, and around 1-3 feet is most effective. In this case, the uneven rock wall was pretty absorbent, so it really didn’t much matter how close...and I needed max space in front of cab.Kevin,
A couple of questions about your setup:
- ......How close is it and what distance(s) from rear surfaces do you try to keep it from for the rear facing speaker to be effective?
- What surfaces - such as this rock wall with large crevasses - have more of a detrimental effect on the sound/3D effect than others?

Love my 410HLF. Great rock and roll cab. Well, that's what I use mine for anyway. Boomy!!I acquired an Ampeg SVT-410HLF this morning to go along with the Fender Bassman 800. A good way to get the full 800 watts out of the head, with one 4 ohm cab. The SVT-410HLF is a 4 ohm, 500 watts RMS / 1,000 watts Peak cab.

I like it very much. It replaced an Ampeg V4BH which sounded great but broke up too early with my 5-string. The Alpha can present a loud and clean low B and has very good eq options. Six 6L6:s /160W is quite perfect in a tube amp IMO, loud enough and not too heavy. Only 2 and 4 Ohms output load though, something to concider if you're in the market for one.Man I had a deal on an alpha bass head fall thru about a year ago. How’s it sound? I’ve heard good things
I don’t know what it is, but I like it.I'm having a hard time picturing a rig that sounds better than this. Its just perfectly balanced, punchy, louder than it should be, and really warm and fat but clear.

I don’t know what it is, but I like it.
It’s a sonic farm 2di4 tube DI, a RAD 1000p power amp and 2 Bergantino cn210 cabs.
What are the ratings at 4 & 8 ohm on the RAD 1000?
The cabs I knew but your power amp and DI, not so much. Looks like a killer rig. I suppose you control all your tone on your bass?
