You go-to guitar, when you play guitar, assuming you own a guitar.

The guitar you grab when you go against the TB credo and play guitar.

I mean ones you own. Cause in my long rambling post, I didn't define my objective well. I fixed the post, your cool though, sweet pic. We can all dream can't we.

So these are the guitars I actually own:

The one I grab most often is the Ibanez AF75 (archtop hollowbody in the bottom left) ...partially because it can be played unplugged, partially because it just happens to reside closest to the door of the closet where I keep my guitars...but also because it has a wonderfully comfortable neck. Real easy to play, feels good to play, makes me want to play it even more.

otoh, my "favorite" guitar is probably the Roland G-303 (brown solidbody second from the bottom on the right) because it has an even nicer feeling neck, plus it sounds FREAKING AWESOME when plugged in.

Nice wide swing of guitars there. The Vox is killer. Roland, don't think I ever seen one before. Did someone add the Kahler, or did it come that way? I'm a die hard Floyd Rose fan myself.
I almost got an Artcore when I bought My Johnson Vegas. The Vegas was a decoration at Sam Ash, needed some work nothing major. It was dirt cheap price, I didn't mind cause I had plans for it anyway. They were pretty surprised when I asked about then bought it. It's been brought up to speed from it's days as a factory Johnson. Next is a Duncan JB in the bridge position. Going for a Ted Nugent beast.

Would you like to profess your love for this guitar in any way, shape or form? A very nice PRS, different pickup configuration, Ibanez like. I have limited PRS experience, I am fully aware of how nice they are though.

These are amazingly wonderful instruments. Highest build quality, great tones, nice feeling necks, perfectly placed volume control for volume swells.

I have a very early Washburn acoustic. Did a long term lend it to an aspiring, struggling, young, folk singer/song writer, kinda hippie girl. She actually gigs out more on my acoustic than I do in my band playing bass. I didn't play it much, she had an old Kay I didn't think sounded up to her talent. It's nice to see someone use it well to achieve her dreams.

This Jazz bass. I went almost 40 years only playing my P bass. I found this one and I absolutely love this bass. There's nothing special about it. It's passive, with whatever stock pups are in it (I would like to know if anyone knows what a stock 2005 Fender Jazz bass pups are). It does have that S1 switch which makes one heck of a difference. This is my favorite bass.

EDIT: I automatically thought about my bass, before reading through. There's some really nice guitars here too. Didn't mean to interrupt, but I love my bass guitar!

Very nice instruments you have there Jeff. (if I can call you that, or do you prefer Uncle Martin) Your acoustics are The Bomb. The Martin is wild, super cool. Looks like a rare bird. Well done, you get an A+ Thanks for participating.

Is that a double neck Wolfgang? How much does that beast weigh. Looks like something EVH would have used for the show. Like the surf green strat with a proper humbucker in it. So what brand is it. Nice show for the people, Well Done!

I haven't been playing much lately for a variety of reasons. Eventually I'll go through all of them.

The Les Paul is a beauty. Fender is cool but I'm Humbuckers Forever guy.

The green strat is a Ashland it plays good but I need to put a new selected switch in it. I looked at Fender Stratocaster and really wanted one in that color but I wasn't giving 900.00 for one.especially no more than it was going to get played. I'm still wanting a jazz in the surf green color maybe I will eventually find a fender jazz that I can live with. I'm pretty ocd about the condition of my Bass's finish and condition.

So you're a fan of the Flying Vee I'm guessing. A little to showy for my taste. But they are beautiful. A friend in high school had the V with the V pickups and the carved top. I could pretend I know the official model name, but to lazy to Google it. You haVe a Very nice collection there.

I've got a 70's mahogany Guild Dreadnaught that I've owned for about 25 years. It's pretty special. "Real" guitarists have borrowed/rented it from me for recording. Records tight and focused like a smaller bodied acoustic. A true keeper.

It's a case of kindle putting up words and me mindlessly going with it. Pretending to look like I have abilities I don't. If there was no spell check, I wouldn't even be posting. Or at least hugging a dictionary during the process. And I still stick with my above statements.

Here's my only guitar, not counting the junk Fender acoustic that doesn't count. I wanted to learn guitar with a better instrument and when I was buying bass strings I asked the sales person if he had any inexpensive electric guitars. He said I'll give you that white one for $100. I have a guitar playing friend who warned me "Don't get one of those %$#*& Squiers." Wouldn't you know, the 'white one' was a Bullet Strat but it really had a great neck, felt perfect for me. Satin finish on the neck feels awesome. Then I ordered one of the Fender Mustang amps, the little 20W. What a blast to play with that thing.

Hey whatever gets you in the game. Actually I think the bullet is a little nicer than the plain old start ones. And you get an A for going with a humbucker in the bridge position.
