Let's spread some musical misinformation

The Kazoo primary operational schematic.....a very very complex instrument. One could spend years and never master it....personally I gave up after 3 years of trying to play Stairway To Heaven...

People have been rigging up crude/creative stringed instruments forever. Pluck a piece of string or wire stretched tightly between a couple of nails and you have sound.

But that was just the beginning, competition and innovation lead to many approaches of getting more notes from the "instrument." More strings, different lengths, seemed like the most popular, aka piano, but those got big and heavy in a hurry.

Someone somewhere took the minimalist approach and figured out how to play melodies on a yo-yo string while the yo-yo was moving. This provided many notes in a very small amount of space.

A horn dude found out about the yo-yo dude, and stole/borrowed his idea, and invented the slide trombone.
