Let's spread some musical misinformation

Meg White has apparently tweeted that, as flattered as she was to be asked to join Rush, she felt she didn't want to dumb down her very economical jazz style at this juncture!

Untrue! Rush broke up because after 40 years they decided that they were never going to be able to make a living playing prog rock. Neil joined a country and western band in LA, Geddy is playing blues in a bar on college st. in Toronto, and Alex is a bar tender in Nova Scotia.

I thought Geddy was being asked to join Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe? Of course Jon Anderson has retired so it's Ian Anderson, and Rick Wakeman's son, but Thick as a Roundabout and Skating Away on the Thin Ice of the Topographic Ocean have never sounded better.

The new line up will be called "WHABL? Yes!"
