Let's spread some musical misinformation

I'm pretty sure the first two are too full of folk acts for them to fit. The fokies are all in real ale bars, though. No self-respecting folkie even knows where Indianapolis is.
Sure we do, it's the twin city of Sioux City, both are suburbs of Yellowknife. Yellowknife being the air terminus for traveling to Ayers Rock in the outback of New Zealand and not too terribly far from Delhi, the capital of Scotland. I know this because of the tour I took of the Stradivarius factory that is located and still operating in Copenhagen, France. That factory is where Leo Fender (blessed be unto him) had his apprenticeship while learning to build his world famous instruments, the autoharp and electric cymbals.

I know where the Hudson River valley is too.

True. The Mini Cooper was named for the famous blues musician, Al Kooper. Kooper had a falling out with the automaker when it announced its slogan: "You too can have a Mini Kooper, just like Al." Al didn't like that and severed all ties and sued to have his name removed. The name was changed to Mini Cooper.

If life starts getting you down and you spiral into a depression, take a moment and have a good scout around. You'll learn to love it down there - lots of deep and meaningful melodies, down at the well.

Yes..everyone..seize the opportunity to claw your way to the bottom..
When you've sunk as low as you can go--you have arrived.

This is where the great Blues songs are written and you'll probably find one or two Paul Anka
cd's laying around as well.

Duran Duran did not get its name from the character Durand Durand in Barbarella.

Duran Duran got it's name from their first manager. Who happened to be one of those people that repeats everything in a sentence twice for emphasis.

A typical conversation with their manager would go like this;-

"How's it going?"

"Not bad at all. Not bad."

" Beautiful day, huh?"

" Beautiful day. Beautiful."

"What are you going to call that new band you've got?"

"Duran. Duran."

..and he had a brother - Bond, James Bond.

Truth be told, that's how Duran Duran got hooked up to write the "View to a Kill" James Bond Theme song.
