Let's spread some musical misinformation

Where's your broom?

From the listing, "Analog pedals like the TS-9 are similar to tube amps, speakers and passive guitar pickups-they "mature" with age and sound better as they get older."

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

You forgot to mention fine wines and whisky. You can mature your TS9 by pouring a good twelve year old malt into it. For smokey blues, empty an ashtray into it after bourbon. John Lee Hooker gave the full recipe for sounding like him.

If you want a deep, muddy sound, don't forget to drop your TS9 in the Mississippi River. If you are looking to jazz up your sound, you can accomplish both in New Orleans.

The Post about Tutmarc was incomplete, that's all.

Tutmarc was trying to develop the ultimate lap-steel, 'cause he was constantly being drowned out by the rest of his band. In his blind rage-quest for vengeance, revenge, and re-vengenance against his bandmates, he failed to realise he got his lap-steel stem-cell growth serum mixed up with his wife's plant-food formula which she'd been using to tend to the lab's plants (trying to give the lair a more homey touch). The Steel Growth Serum and Cellulose Food Formula DNA streams crossed, and we all know what happens when you cross the streams...

It was likely the total protonic reversal that actually created the fretted bass monster, nobody could've predicted the results of a bass so bad, so evil that it would take over the world of music and beyond.

Or ... wait, no! Could it be? He knew ... maybe ... ALL ALOn—AIAIAIAAIIAIAEEEUUGGHHH — NO?! PLEASE STOP! I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS SAYING! NOBODY ON THE FORUM WOULD BELIEVE ME! YOU DON'T HAVE TO KILL ME I HAVE A WIFE AND CAT PLEEEE:dead:

That's more like what I expect from this thread! :smug:

The Stratocaster was first designed by a bass fisherman who was also a violinist.
Leo was this fishermans neighbor. They used to fish together. It's said Leo traded his idea for an electronic fish finder to his neighbor for the idea for the Stratocaster. Of course Leo removed the fishing reel, took the eyelets off and removed the cork handle to make it easier to play.

When Leo's grandfather, Abecgafad, came to America from Nerdocrumbesia, he was an accomplished metalworker and got a job in the nascent auto repair business. Since no one could pronounce his last name, which had 31 consonants and three vowels, they just called him "hey body and fender man." That got shortened to "fender man" and ultimately just "fender". When Abe became a U.S. citizen he decided to use "Fender" as his surname, turning his back on his Nerdocrumbesian heritage altogether.
